ElMa 16 didn't go far but was so chilly we had to pop out again to warm up There was still ice and snow from an October storm - and no this photo isn't upside down View across the lava beds The photographers, who went to Four Windows, joined up with us while we were waiting for the survey team to pop out of a tight crawl.

Crevice in the floor of the tube Cobwebs? Crystal? We're not sure Lava stalagmite and coralloids - about a foot and a half high The floor was littered with bat skeletons, though there was no sign of them living there

After an attempt to see the glowworm glowing and realizing we were all looking at each other's battery lights instead, most of us left and I wandered to ElMa 10, across a collapse Looking out toward the group The front of 10 has smaller formations than 18, though it's really the same tube Sun's going down, time to head out before we get lost or eaten by cougars
